Python and Introduction to Coding:

For Grades 4–6

Bring innovation and creativity into your classroom with our In-School STEM Field Trips, designed specifically for students in grades 4 to 6. These engaging, curriculum-aligned experiences are delivered right at your school and provide hands-on opportunities for students to explore science, technology, engineering, and math in fun and meaningful ways. 

Students will dive into the world of coding using Python, one of the most popular programming languages in the world. They'll start by learning foundational coding principles such as planning, sequencing, testing, and debugging, then move on to create their own simple computer games.

Throughout the session, students will:

• Explore core programming concepts through interactive activities

• Work collaboratively to solve coding challenges

• Use creativity and logic to develop games and projects

• Gain confidence in their problem-solving and computational thinking skills

Python programming will be done on school or student provided Chromebooks.
